Common pricing questions.

What counts as a “user”?

Anyone with an active Residwell login: residents, RAs, admins, field technicians, and executives. We don't double-count users who hold multiple roles. Inactive accounts (graduated students, moved-out guests) are excluded automatically on the first of the following month.

Can I change which modules are enabled mid-cycle?

Yes. Module changes take effect immediately and are prorated to the day. Turning a module off stops billing for it on the next invoice; turning one on adds a partial-month line item for the days remaining in the cycle.

Do you offer discounts for larger portfolios?

We do. Operators above ~2,000 active users typically negotiate a custom rate on the modules they rely on most. Reach out for a formal quote and we'll work the numbers with you.

Is there a setup fee or annual commitment?

No setup fee on standard onboarding, and no annual lock-in. Billing is monthly and you can cancel any time. We do offer discounted annual prepay if it fits your procurement process better.

How does billing work on academic-year cycles?

If your community runs on a fall & spring calendar, we can bill against active enrollments and pause add-on modules over summer break. We'll set up the cadence that matches your residence-life calendar during onboarding.
